Holy Family Catholic Schools is pleased to celebrate Catholic Education Week from May 10–17, 2026.
This year’s theme, “Pilgrims of Hope: On the Path to Holiness,” reminds us of the vital role Catholic education plays in nurturing faith, hope, compassion, service, and academic excellence within our schools and communities. Catholic education is about forming and supporting the development of the whole person (physically, spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, and socially) while helping students recognize their God-given dignity and talents.
Throughout this special week, I give thanks for our dedicated staff, trustees, clergy, families, parishes, and community partners who work together with us to support the mission of Catholic education across Saskatchewan in general and within Holy Family Catholic Schools specifically.
I am also pleased to share the pastoral letter from the Catholic Bishops of Saskatchewan reflecting on the critical importance and gift of Catholic education in our province. I encourage all members of our community to take a few moments to read and reflect upon their message.
As pilgrims of hope, may we continue to walk together in faith, inspired by Christ’s example of unwavering love, service, and compassion for each individual.
